Box Hill Library

We stumbled across the Box Hill Library quite by accident when we were at a nearby playground. The library was just right next to the playground.
I then googled it and found out the opening times. We also registered online and then Edwin went to get his library card and we can now borrow up to 70 items at any one time. There's really a whole lot of stuff..... books of course, and then audio CDs, DVD, etc etc etc.
Every Friday at 11am, there's storytime for 4-5 year olds. Joseph was very attentive. And then Joy-Anne parked herself on his lap and he put his arms around her. It was a very heart-warming sight to me.
The story-telling time also had songs in between and after which they had some art and craft.
It was all free. I doubt there's anything remotely close to this back home. Mondays and Thursdays are Tiny Tots time for toddlers. We'll check it out next week.

Joy-Anne fell asleep in her stroller on the way home.

We finally bought a pack of rice last night in anticipation of Ah Mah's arrival. So today, Nana cooked fried rice for Joe. It was just rice, butter and egg but he loved it.

He fed himself the entire bowl and said that it's scrumptious! Mmm.... more scrumptious food once Ah Mah gets here.
