photos for yee yee

We went out for dinner last night - big mistake. In future, I will eat at home all thru Ramadan.

Joy-Anne dressed up and all ready to go out...
We thought we would utilise our Chili's vouchers since my dad was in town. But it was just not possible because all of kl was waiting in line for a table there.
heh heh.... my teeth have just cut through my gums... I'll be biting mama by Christmas!
So we ended up at Laksa Shack after all the very hungry people had eaten and vacated the tables.

Ah Ku and his other pretty girl

Joe 'drove' Scoop while waiting. He didn't jump off or run away when it started moving. It's quite a breakthrough.

Ah Ku fed Joe junk food - keropok with ice-cream.
Joe said it was yummy...

joyful eating

Joy-Anne had so much fun with a piece of pear after dinner today.
We discovered she likes her meals sweet rather than savoury.
Maybe it's because breastmilk is sweet and she's used to the sweet taste.

After she was done with the pear, my mum let her play with water. She had fun when the water splashed in her face.

sleeping unlady-like

I found Joy-Anne in this position during her afternoon nap. So unlady-like!
Joy-Anne : ...zzzz....who cares? As long as I'm comfy...zzzz....

singing grace

From the time he was a baby, we taught Joe to say grace before food. Now he sings this 'grace' everytime on his own. And he says it especially fast if his favourite junk food (like muruku, keropok, eggs, fish cake, mamee) is served.

wrestling with my brother

My kor kor loves me. He always hugs and kisses me spontaneously. When we wrestle, he lets me win.
Kor kor loves me so much....he said to mama, "When I grow up, and when Joy-Anne grow up, then we can kiss the mouth!" Mama got a shock and said, "Nooooooooo!!!!!! Only husband and wife can kiss the mouth!"

sitting pretty

My hair's growing....slowly but surely

This is how I shut my mouth tightly when I don't want to eat

Mummy loves my smile

Heh heh....I found kor kor's toy boulder

Watch me make it disappear

Do I look chubbier like this?

I'm gonna be walking really soon!

driving in the house

One should always excercise caution when driving...

Driving while standing up is a no-no!

Joe was sulking and pouting when we wanted to take Joy-Anne's photo because he wanted to block her.

Then after he was done with his 'drama', he wanted to zoom at me.

So I gently pushed him backwards to take his photo.

After that....he said, "I skidded and crashed. Now my car is dented".

"So now....I have to fix my car!"

kiasu baby and Bob fever

Joy-Anne is 8months old today. My mother thinks she should start studying.

Joseph will also say, "I want to study" while he disturbs Joy-Anne.

It's hard to concentrate when there's so much distraction around.

Joy-Anne eats books rather than read them. Eat books - maybe that's why she looks so skinny.

We've got the thin genes. I'm never gonna have chubby babies. Some day she'll be thankful she can eat and not grow fat.

phew...all that studying makes me tired.

Joseph is currently into Bob the Builder...

Scoop is for pooing in the toilet, Roley is for peeing by himself, Benny is for cutting hair without crying, Muck is for holding his own bottle and Lofty is for eating medicine without any fuss.

wearing his new Bob the Builder pyjamas from Ah Koh

Yee yee says it's bribery. I prefer to call it incentives.

belated mooncake festival

Ah Mah and Ah Kong came for dinner last night to have a belated mooncake festival celebration. They brought homemade mooncakes. Before marrying Edwin, I had never eaten homemade mooncakes and never did really like mooncakes.
Now...this is my favourite - the 5 nuts variety. But I eat only homemade ones. Yup...my tastebuds have been pampered. Last week I tried a 5-nuts variety one made by Genting. Supposedly cost over RM13 for one mooncake. Tasted like...blearrgghhhh!!!!
Ah Mah and Ah Kong had a good time playing with the kids.

Ah Kong tried to take photo of the kids for his cellphone. Joe wanted to see his photo in the phone and Joy-Anne also wanted to busybody.
