Around St Kilda and the city

I had been doing some 'research' about playgrounds around Melbourne that we could bring Joseph to and stumbled upon St Kilda Adventure Playground. Then a friend mentioned that it was the ultimate playground in Melbourne.
So we went to check it out today.
We took the train into the city and then the tram all the way to St Kilda beach first. I wanted to see the beach. It was really windy and chilly so we didn't stay too long.

It took some navigational skills to actually locate this very well-hidden playground.

It's very compact and has a lot of stuff. But I think Joseph found it a bit too overwhelming. He looked at it very cautiously and wasn't quite sure where to start. After some coaxing, he tried the flying fox with me holding on to him.

He did enjoy jumping on the giant trampoline.

And I had to climb up with him into this 'airplane' because he just wouldn't even go near it on his own.

After a while, we went back to Birrarrung Marr playground. While he ran around and Joy-Anne slept, we had our picnic lunch there by the Yarra River.

It was quite pleasant. Joe spent the rest of the day checking out other playgrounds with papa while Nana, KongKong, Mama and Joy went to Queen Victoria Market.

After that we made our way to Smith St again to check out the Pumpkin Patch outlet store. Then we took the train to Camberwell for dinner at Sofia's (again!!!!).

It was a long day out. Tomorrow will be another long day out. We're gonna check out Bundoora Park after church.

I like shopping here... paid AUD6 for this cute top for Joy.
