February already...8 more days to collect ang pow

It's been a quiet chinese new year. Joe goes back to school tomorrow after a 1-week break. I can't quite believe it's already February.

Ah Mah and Ah Kong were down with chikungunya. One very bad mosquitoe bit them and the virus attacked their joints so badly, they had problems getting up and down the 3 flights of stairs. Even turning on the bed was a problem. Thank God they are now much better and still recovering.

Joseph has been having a runny nose since 25 December and developed a cough about a week ago. We took him to see the paediatrician yesterday. The bad news is that she diagnosed him with allergic rhinitis and he's got to take a cocktail of medicine (augmentin, zyrtec, actifed and 1 more I dunno wat) for the next couple of days. The good news is that he's taking it all very cheerfully. He feeds himself the medicine with a syringe.

Joy-Anne recovered from her 6-day fever on 19Jan but started with a runny nose again yesterday. Nevertheless, she's still happy and absolutely enjoys jumping around on kor kor's bed.
She can now wear her brand new USD8 Timberland sandals. Thank you yee teow!

And thank you for the ang pow too.

  1. Did Joseph get better with Actifed? It made Lucas really drowsy and unlike himself. It's my first time using it.

Back to Rhinathiol and Ventolin syrup now and he's back to his old self.
