Mother-and-daughter time @ Posh!Nails

We're doing a photoshoot tomorrow in conjunction with our 10th wedding anniversary.

When we got married 10 years ago, I was a student. Yeah, you read that right. I was a student - a final year dental student 3 months away from my final exams. I didn't get a manicure nor pedicure (I wore a closed-toe shoe) and we didn't have professional photographers. One of my juniors with a SLR did the photography for us....with 35mm film.

Sounds like I got married in the Jurassic Era. In this day and age where 2 seconds of waiting for a webpage to load is a long time, TEN YEARS is a REALLY REALLY REALLY long time!!!

Still, it seems not that long ago when I was planning for my wedding.

So I thought I should treat myself to a manicure. My first ever in my entire life!!!

Joy was way too happy to come along for some pampering.
The manicurist was also very happy to paint some pretty princess toes into strawberries. It was all her idea.
We went to Posh!Nails in SS2/30. My manicure cost RM39 while Joy's mani-pedi cost RM30. I thought her's was a steal!
Ain't those strawberry toes just so darn cute...?!!
Posh!Nails currently has a promotion with Groupon till tomorrow, valid till Dec2012. You get a manicure and pedicure for RM38.
I usually don't spend money on such things that will not last long. It's also rather difficult to maintain such nails when one has to do house chores and clean shit-coated butts. But since it's gonna be immortalized in professionally-taken photographs, I guess it's ok.

  1. Wahh, you have to wait more than 30 years to get your first mani and Joy gets hers at 4 years plus old! Getting Groupon deals for these is alright, since it doesn't last, even for a person like me who doesn't wash or do housechores. I got weak nails too eversince delivery. : (
