I had a mission. To research how much it would cost to order a custom-made birthday cake for Joseph. The requirement - it had to be in the shape of a number 1. After visits to several bakeries, I have decided that I will bake it myself and channel the money to Joseph's college fund. Yup, Joseph will have a bigger college fund, AND a number 1-shaped birthday cake, baked with loads of tender loving care. Now to find the perfect recipe to bake the cake....
